I have some new (and old) expressions that my parents think are worth noting...
I still say things like
"carey bug!...but now it is in a sentence like "MOM, clean dat carey bug out of da tub!!" (we have no window screens in this apartment!!!)
I used to say "carey motercycle" but now, since I've seen soooooo many everyday in Germany, I say "see dat carey motercycle...I not (s)cared...I not (a)fraid of dat carey motercycle...it's not a car...it's a motercycle...not for kids...not for madchens (young girls in German)...not for junge (little boys)...only big people...not carey motercycle...(this dialogue, by the way, can go on for hours straight if there is a long series of two-wheeled vehicles!!!).

Let's see...what else...here are some of my German Phrases:
"Nein, danke schon"- I'm very polite!!
"Vielleicht"-I say this all the time...it means "perhaps"
"Wie Gehts"? ( means WHHHAAAAAASSSSSUUUUUP?????)
"Schmeckt gut"?? (tastes good?)-I am especially cute when I say this 'cause I get right in your face, and look at you with huge concerned eyes...
"Uberraschung!" (surprise!)
"Pas auf!" (Watch out)...these last two I got straight from watching "Tiggers Grosses Abenteuer" (about 1000 times!!)

Let's see...colors...I know a lot of them!
GelB(uh)I REALLY emphasize the B at the end!!=yellow
Lila=Purple (like my Favorite dinosaur!!!
Rot=red
and my personal favorite...
Schwartz=Black...but I have trouble pronouncing it so I say..."Farts"!

I also babble a lot with a German accent...everyone seems to get a kick out of that!...don't they understand German???

Some phrases I like to use I got from my oma...like...
"Mensch"! (People!... or something like that!)
"Everything's cool"...I know that's English...but I still got it from my Oma!!

oh yeah-lately-I've had to say THIS phrase A LOT...
"Muffert (mother)-PUT DOWN DAT COMPUTER...NOW!!!"



Tschus!! (bye bye!!)



Lately, I like to tell you everything I want to hear:

You're NOT tired!
You wanna wake up! (...at 6 in the morning no less!)
I had GOOD sleep!!
You're NOT scared!
...and so on...
I've also picked up a few phrases I've heard around...like:
Settle down!
Hit me! (from poker night with Dad!!)

ans some recent phrases:
"I SO miss you!" (to whoever she's talking to)
"I wanna get married with you...take your shoes off" (do I see a beach wedding in her future??)
and another favorite...when ever we are taking off on an airplane (and remember...Hannah has logged over 25 flights in just 30 months!!!) she says...with sheer excitement...
"HERE*****WE*****GO!!!!!!!"
(everyone gets a kick out of that!)
